Aggressions in English (10. 1. 2007)

Yesterday, I was in kind of a funny mood and I listened to music rather loud and sketched silly stuff. Today I managed to find the motivation to take photos of them sketches and now I will comment on them. Beware!

In Image A you see a couple of interesting devices which one might call weapons. (1) is sort of a flail or mace or morning-star or whatever it is called, it it ends in a hand holding another thing ending in a hand holding a small, yet deadly axe. I even thought about making kind of a recursive weapon that holds itself but that might turn out pretty dangerous. (2) is like what we call "Tschakko" in German, but it ends in a brass fist, and so it rather looks like an arm with elbow and everything. I sure must look funny from the eyes of the victim when he sees the fist closing in. (3) is just quite nice looking, in my opinion. Some kind of multiple-dagger with an axe-handle. (4) is the thing for you if you like kicking people's butts with a heavy boot but are too lazy to use your actual leg. In Image B you see a submachine pistol and sketches of my future castle. The submachine pistol can be attached to your underarm, so you can't really lose it even if you open your hand. It features two completely independent firing-systems (two packs of ammo, two barrels etc.) so if one fails the other can jump in. It also has some blades attached for hand-to-hand-combat if the ammo runs out. In Image C you see even more sketches of the future castle. I was thinking about its size. First I thought that it should be able to have a hangar for my airship, the "Kralle" (which itself contains 3 submarines of the type U3C, there's images of them in the 3D-section of this website). It's diameter of approx. 5km would call for tower-diameter of about 6km, which would result in a height of approx. 42km. That would be quite a bit higher than Mt. Everst, and one could not stand on the roof and enjoy the view - at least not without suffocating at the same time. So, in Image C you can see the corrected size of the thing. Diameter 500m, height 3,5km. Still pretty high, I guess, but there should be good air around. No "Kralle" inside, but who cares, for it has it's hangar at the south-pole anyway or can stay in the air all the time (it can't really run out of fuel due to it's revolutionary tri-pole-energy-generator (which defines the shape of the thing, by the way)). Anyway, still plenty of space on the roof of the tower, enough for some houses, trees, a vegetable-garden and therelike. The wall of the claw is made of something inbetween of metal and stone, it's black, of course. There are very little windows, all can be closed and "hidden" completely behind thick armored shutters. There's lots of guns and weapons around the wall of the tower. Almost at the top, you can see 4 knife-like things. They are just there to make it look cool and aggressive, but they could be turnend 180 and then put into a rotationary-movement (does this word really exist?) and then lowered to eliminate, er, thearts on the floor. The tower is actually much higher than depicted, it reaches very deep into the earth, and it stands in a hole. The hole has a diameter of about 1,3km, so one might call it a pretty deep and wide moat. It's so deep that I can't really tell if there is water and crocodiles at the bottom. There is a small bridge between the "world" and the entrance to the tower, but usually it's drawn in and the tower is accessed by air most of the time (see sketches of the small aircraft in the drawings-section of this website). Of course an approachig aircraft has to send a sceret signal and stuff, or it will be identified as an enemy and be shot down more quickly than a lamb can waggle its tail. *g* There are some rumors that the entire tower can be lowered down into the hole, but I'm not yet so sure about it. Ah, one more thing: I'd like to direct your attention to an artist I discovered a cuppla moths ago, here's a (rather harmless) example of his works: http://ackegard.com/gallery/v/campaigns/calipolis/LK_Lisa_Douglas_Face_Off.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1 It may or may not look special to your eyes, but it sure does to mine. I find the details astounding, for instance the funny face at the bottom left ot the stylized battle on the top of the page. The image coneys an extreme sense of three-dimensionality, it looks so bloody real. More real than much of the crap that you see in expensive movies with big fat colourful 3D-renderings. Anyway. I'm gonna read a bit of Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" while Kasperky is checking them harddiscs for evil things. Then, I might consider quaking a bit, and then, we might go for a short walk, and then I am supposed to cook some curry la Jamie Oliver. Uh, one more thing I promised Tsuki to publish: Today I told her that one can reload a frame in FireFox by pressing right mouse button and then typing "f" and "r". She asked me how I found out. I told her to look at them underlined words in the texts of the menu. Then she told me she never realized what them underlinings are supposed to mean and that she thought them to be BUGS instead. Quite funny, is it not?
