Day 19: Corona Arch, Dead Horse Point State Park

Our last day in the area of Moab. First, we drove and hiked to Corona Arch -- and nearby Bowtie Arch, of course. Somehow, I imagined Corona Arch about double its size, but never mind that now. :)

Next, we wanted to watch the sunset at the Dead Horse Point State Park. I found a shortcut in Google maps -- but the road turned out to be one of the worst we ever drove on, if not the worst. No sand, but huge rocks, holes and steep cliffs. On the photo below, the one with the car, You see a piece of road where we had to squeeze through -- yes, we came from behind that huge rock. :)

Anyway, we finally arrived at the Point and had to wait because we were to early. When we got out of the car again, we were almost to late. But we managed some nice shots, I guess:

On the last photo you see the condition of the roads in the park. :)
